The Power of Tulsi

Tulsi (holy basil) is considered sacred in Hinduism and is often grown in the courtyards of homes. According to legend, Tulsi was a devoted woman who was transformed into a plant. She is considered an embodiment of Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. Worshipping Tulsi is believed to bring blessings of health, wealth, and happiness. It is also believed that planting a tulsi plant around a house protects the house and those living in it from negative energies.
